Accommodation Information
Food & Drink
We offer a wide selection of food and beverage options to suit all tastes. Our bar is open 12 noon until 23:00 Monday to Saturday and until 22.30 on a Sunday. Please take a look at our current menu located in the bar area. We do offer Specials -so please be sure to check with staff. If you do have any dietary requirements, please let a member of staff know as we can cater for the majority of these.
Kitchen opening times:
Monday – Thursday 12 noon till 20:00
Friday – Saturday 12 noon till 21:00
Sunday 12 noon until 19:00
Your room has been booked on a room only basis, we don’t currently offer a breakfast service. There are a number of lovely cafes and bakeries down the High Street – a short stroll away from us who open early for breakfast. These are reasonably priced and the majority are small independent family owned businesses.
On the High Street there are a number of other small shops and a Morrisons supermarket within walking distance and you can also see the beautiful architecture of Yeadon Town Hall. Yeadon Tarn / Dam is a stone’s throw away from the pub and it is a lovely flat walk around the lake where a number of ducks and swans can be seen. Water sports can be undertaken on the lake during the Summer months.
A short vehicle journey can lead you to the cities of Leeds, Bradford or Harrogate or into the beautiful countryside that Yorkshire has to offer.
Arrival / Departure Times
Check-in time is from 14:00 onwards. Guests are required to check-out by 11:00 on the day of departure. Should you require a late check-out please contact reception who will advise you on the room availability and additional charge.
If you are staying with us for more than one evening, please let us know if you require a room refresh, please speak to a member of our team or leave the ‘Please make up my room’ sign on your door. This is a double sided sign which has ‘Do not disturb’ on the reverse side. Our morning staff will be more than happy to replenish consumables and provide fresh towels if required otherwise they will not enter your room.
We have left a ‘how was your stay’ card in your room and we would be grateful if you could take a moment to complete this and leave it in your room. If you wish it to be anonymous, please post it in the post box along with your keys.
Shower Facilities
All showers are electric and need to be switched on by the cord located inside the en-suite.
Room 6 only – shower should be left on ECO and heat can be altered using the dial. Please allow time for the temperature to adjust once altered.
Self Checkout
Guests with an early morning flight are required to settle any outstanding bills the night before. Please leave your key in the post box at the bottom of the stairs and vacate the building by turning right at the bottom of the stairs and leaving through the fire exit. This will bring you to the rear of the pub, please walk over the decking and turn right at the end of the building into our car park – this will the bring you onto High Street, Yeadon and the front of the pub. We would appreciate it if you could keep noise to a minimum when leaving as other guests may still be sleeping.
The fire door is locked during the night but can be opened from the inside using the push bar. Once the door is closed to it will lock again. Entry can only be gained from the outside using a key (there is one on your room key fob). The lock opens on the outside by inserting the key and turning it anti-clockwise (to the left).
Refreshments
Refreshment facilities are available in all rooms. If you require a top up, please let a member of staff know.
Rooms
All rooms have a TV which has free view as standard. They are controlled via a remote control. If it doesn’t seem to be responding, please check that the plug socket the TV is plugged into is switched to the on position. Some of our rooms have a desk and others are quieter than others – if this is required, please speak to a member of staff who may be able to upgrade you subject to availability
In line with UK law, safety and the comfort of other guests, all are rooms are NO SMOKING. Smoking is only permitted outside in the open air and any butts should be disposed of in the ashtrays provided.
An ironing board and iron is available for guest use, please ask a member of staff if you wish to use them.
Room 6 only – the beside lamps and sockets are turned on via the switches at the side of the bed. Both switches need to be on for the sockets to work. The lamps are operated by touch for on and off once switched on at the socket.
Heating
Our rooms are heated by radiators and are set to a recommended temperature. We appreciate that everyone is different and as such the radiators can be turned up or down using the temperature control valve on the side of the radiators (0 being off and 5 being the warmest). If you have any difficulty with the control of the heat, please speak to a member of staff. Blankets are provided for those who like it a touch more cosy on a night.
If you do require any more blankets – please let us know and we will be more than happy to provide these.

Emergency
In case of an emergency please call the 07519 095 139 between the hours of 23:00 and 10:00. Please note; these are EMERGENCY contact number only and should not be used for general enquires.
Car Parking
CCTV cameras are in operation. The White Swan accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage caused to vehicles or belongings left in the car park. Long stay is only available upon request and subject to availability with a small daily charge payable.
Bar and Function Room
Our pub is open to the public from 12 noon every day and last orders is generally 23:00 Monday to Saturday and 22:30 on a Sunday. We do occasionally have events in our function room on a weekend with later opening hours, however we do ask all guest to be respectful and keep noise to an acceptable level. As always, please speak to a member of staff if you have any concerns.

Fire Evacuation
We have taken every precaution to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests whilst in the hotel. Please familiarise yourself with the fire evacuation instructions, including locations of fire extinguishers and directions to your nearest emergency exit, displayed on the back of your entry door. Fire exits are clearly marked with Green directional signage.
If you discover a fire and it is safe to do so, please alert a member of staff who will control the situation. Where it is not safe to do so, please evacuate and alert everyone possible and call 999. Should you have time, please call the emergency contact numbers as a secondary measure.
The fire assembly point is located on the grassed area at the rear of the building beyond the decking area – this is clearly marked with signage
Wi-Fi
To access complimentary Wi-Fi please sign in through Facebook or alternatively if you do not have Facebook you can enter code FreeWifi2021 when prompted on the Facebook log-in page. Alternatively, you can log onto the guest wifi using the password Summer2021
First Aid
First aid boxes are located throughout the premises and we have a number of first aid trained staff. There is also a defibrillator outside the building facing onto the car park. This is key coded but should it be required it can be accessed by calling 999.

The postcodes have been taken from the hospitals website and whilst will direct you to the hospital they may not take you straight to A & E. If you require urgent medical assistance, please call 999.
